Season Of The Soul

Reflections on a New Musical Journey

Before I Knew Myself

I've begun working on a new album, Season of the Soul, inspired by the quiet relationship between nature's changing seasons and the seasons we experience within ourselves.

Something profoundly beautiful about the way nature moves through its cycles without resistance. Spring awakens, summer flourishes, autumn releases, and winter rests. Each season has its own purpose, beauty, and lessons.

I often think our lives are much the same.

We experience moments of awakening, seasons of abundance, times of letting go, and periods of stillness when very little appears to be happening. Yet beneath the surface, something is always changing, growing, or preparing to begin again.

This album will unfold in four musical movements—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter—each containing three intimate stories told through voice, piano, and delicate acoustic arrangements.

The opening piece, Before I Knew Myself, returns to the innocence of childhood, to a time when the world was filled with possibilities, and we had yet to discover the many versions of ourselves we would become.

As the music moves through the seasons, so too will the stories, exploring love, memory, impermanence, acceptance, and renewal.

I want this collection to feel organic and unhurried, letting the music breathe and the stories unfold naturally.

Perhaps what draws me most to this project is the simple understanding that nothing remains as it was, and it shouldn’t.

Beauty exists in every season, even the ones we'd rather not experience.

And sometimes, the quietest seasons are the ones that change us most.
